The township holds one monthly public meeting on the last Monday of each month in the Township Hall located at 935 College Avenue South, St Joseph.

RECENT SIGNIFICANT EVENTS:
- New 10 year Fire Contract signed May 2024 with City of St Joseph.
- Fiber optic cable placements for internet in the Township’s underserved areas are now complete. Residents seeking services should contact Albany Mutual Telephone.
- Big Stone-Alexandria-Big Oaks Transmission Project (CAPX) placing the second circuit on existing and new transmission poles throughout 2026.
- St Joseph Township has recently implemented an outdoor amplified music ordinance for commercial businesses. Commercial businesses considering large outdoor door music events are encouraged to contact the Township for assistance.
