The township holds one monthly public meeting on the last Monday of each month in the Township Hall located at 935 College Avenue South, St Joseph.
In the future when known, the Township will place a construction schedule on this website.
CURRENT EVENTS:
- On September 8th at 7pm there will be a meeting at the Township Hall for input on the final draft of the Township Noise Ordinance. To download the full draft click here.
- New 10 year Fire Contract signed May 2024 with City of St Joseph.
- Fiber optic cable placement for internet is coming in 2025 to Township through grant.
- The U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, ST. PAUL DISTRICT, has authorized to discharge fill material into waters of the U.S. ln association with the replacement of the existing steel pipe culvert with a new precast concrete box culvert (Bridge No. 73J47) on 123rd Avenue over the South Fork Watab River. The proposed work is located in Section 20, Township 124 North, Range 029 West, Stearns County, Minnesota.
- DUE TO ALL OF THE RECENT RAINS, THE REPLACEMENT OF THE 123RD BOX CULVERT STARTING DATE HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE TOWNSHIP TO BE PUSHED OUT TO THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 1st OR 8th.
- 2019 Annexation Agreement will run its due course and tax based sharing will be finished at the end of 2024.
- Big Stone-Alexandria-Big Oaks Transmission Project (CAPX) public meetings are scheduled. Check online for places and dates.
